on the way into town from sonoma and look who is missing out on the bridge! he's obsessed with bridges right now. as he says - bridge over water. we thought about waking him up but figured longer nap = happier boy, and he would have a chance to see the bridge later.
the weather was perfect. crystal clear skys created stunning views all over town.
the only problem - wind. and boy was it windy. 30 - 40 mph winds nearly blew us away. we didn't even try to walk the bridge it was so windy and we weren't properly dressed for the wind.
so, off to the palace of fine arts. we thought we would take in the exploratorium, but decided to hang out outside and feed the ducks instead. the wind was a lot calmer, so we weren't freezing our bottoms off. you can see mr. t's new bff shanna happily taking if all in right behind him.
yes. this wall nearly gave mom (me) a heart attack. mr. t was running up and down the sidewalk and leaning farther and farther over the wall. i finally had to turn away and have dad watch him.
this was my usual position. close enough to grab him if the made a sudden move.

these are rare and we were so happy one or two turned out.
the smiles on our faces show what a great day it was.
