wine country

 we spent some of our vacation touring vineyards.  the scenery was beautiful - a picture everywhere you look.  the leaves were changing from yellow to brown and we were there just in time for peak color. 

something sure was funny! 

 so, you say this stuff turns into wine?

even in the middle of the vineyard there are rocks.  and big ones too by the look of these.  our time at the vineyards was split between drinking wine and finding entertainment for mr. t.  a walk through the grapes was great for getting out some energy and for working up a thirst.

the weather was a mixture of rain and sunshine. 
this shot catches it right between the two.

we stopped on the side of the road to take this picture and before we knew it, we had company.  other photographers couldn't resist the urge to stop either.
