here are some photos from his actual birthday spent with mom and dad. we opened a couple of presents and spent the evening playing late into the night.

here are some photos of mr. t opening a present from mom. my that's a big box, i wonder what is inside? (and for those of you who have been waiting to see the new bookshelves - you can kind of see them in the background behind us).
animals!
i worked on these for the last couple of weeks before the big day. each one is made from a pair of plain gloves. there is a penguin, a tiger, a bear, a pig, a bunny rabbit, and two french dogs in striped sweaters (tom calls them salt and pepper).
and here is a close up of some of the animals. you can kind of see one of the french, sweater wearing dogs (salt) just beyond the bear.
