today the weather turned spring-like, so we headed out to see spring's pink ladies. down to the tidal basin we went, braved the parking chaos and the tourists to see what spring had sprung.
the cherry blossoms - beautiful as always.
i don't know if he was excited to see and touch the tree or if he was just excited to be out of the stroller....
that tree is old. and it tastes good too.
we even planned to meet one of our neighbors out here and it worked.
through the huge crowds, all of a sudden here they come.
